In FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), Culinary Arts is both a competitive event and a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) pathway that allows students to showcase and grow their skills in the culinary field. Through this program, students gain hands-on experience in food preparation, hospitality, and food service—often working under time constraints to simulate real-world industry conditions. The experience may lead to national competitions and industry-recognized certifications, supporting students’ career readiness in culinary arts.
