SUMMARY
Reflection
I believe I speak for many others like me when I say that I used to be afraid of this project until I saw the finish line. This experience has been the first time that I edited a video using real-world footage, and that first that I made a video with the purpose of evoking emotion from the audience. I learned the importance of breaking apart a large project into smaller deadlines. I can't begin to imagine how lost I would have felt if the workload was not divided into smaller deadlines. I also learned to be more considerate with other people's time and how to collaborate with other people to accomplish a goal. I reached out to others to ask for guidance, and I happily used their advice to improve my project.
Project Impact
The impact I hope to achieve is to change minds and send a message of why people are scammed to begin with: they fall into an emotionally-vulnerable position, just like everyone else can. I believe that scams should be looked more as a crime and not a breach that occurs because of someone's negligence.
PROJECTS TASKS

Storytelling, Human Rights, and Creative Changemaking
1.00 hour learning about service to others | Compassion
This step moved me to consider what I care about and think about a problem that I see in the world. I also reflected deeper into how I want others to feel about the issue I identified.

Finding Inspiration from other Creative Activists in the World Today
1.00 hour learning about service to others | Compassion
After seeing some of the ways that others have shared their own stories, I have thought about using video editing to spread a story. I am still uncertain which type of video I want to create, but I believe that I could lean towards a video style like my favorite tv show "Adam Ruins Everything."

What's the Issue? What's the Goal?
1.00 hour learning about service to others | Compassion
In this process, I honed in on the exact problem that I wanted to impact and researched the background of the problem. I am also currently decided that I wanted to educate others on the danger of cyber threats and how to prevent them.

Problem, Solution, Impact!
1.00 hour leading an initiative | Connectedness
I furthered my knowledge of my issue and sharpened my focus towards making change rather than making a product. I feel unsteady about what I could do, but I feel more confident finalizing the end goal of my project.

The Work Begins!
2.00 hours leading an initiative | Compassion
I'm starting to think about how my film will be executed. It feels like a large process that I'm not ready for, but my teacher always stressed on following-through, so instead of feeling unworthy, I need to keep progressing.

The Work Continues!
11.00 hours leading an initiative | Compassion
My progress involves gathering the recordings necessary and forming a narrative with the footage I have available. I am currently finished recording and I am editing my video.

Who are the Creative Changemakers? You are!!!
2.00 hours leading an initiative | Compassion
My final project is complete! I wish that I could have continued to put more effort and fix all of the niches in the video. It's crazy to think that I was panicking over how I would complete this in a month. I found the process to be enjoyable.

Shine a Light
1.00 hour leading an initiative | Compassion
This project opened my perspective of the efforts that go into creating and perfecting a project that becomes a message to an audience. My project focuses on tackling against the victim-blaming mindset that happens when someone gets scammed. I recorded a video with my family assisting me in its creation, and editing a video in hopes of evoking people's emotions and changing how people view scam victims. I believe that scams should be looked more as a crime and not a breach that occurs because of someone's negligence. The impact I hope to achieve is to change minds and send a message of why people are scammed to begin with: they fall into an emotionally-vulnerable position, just like everyone else can.
