SUMMARY
Reflection
Even getting a small group of people together, like my neighborhood, can make a real impact in the community. I also saw the amount of excess we have, that we can give away so many clothes year after year and still never want for more.
Project Impact
This clothing drive donated over 200lbs of shirts, pants and jackets to students in need.
PROJECTS TASKS

Page Week
10.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Connectedness
I enjoyed my week with the nc page program. I learned a lot about different jobs in the government and what they do. I learned important lessons taught to me by the people kind enough to speak with us aswell.

Project Planning
4.00 hours donating clothing | Compassion
For my clothes drive to work, I will need to connect a lot of people willing to donate clothes. I plan to do this by starting with my family and myself and donating our old clothes. Than gathering clothes from my neighbors by putting a text out in our group chat and going door to door.

Do the Project
10.00 hours donating clothing | Connectedness
After I had gathered all of the clothes. I washed the majority of them and checked for holes to make sure all of them were wearable. Than I took them up to the local homeless shelter and church to donate them.

Project Outcomes & Reflection
1.00 hour leading an initiative | Connectedness
I am very happy with how my clothes drive went. It is good to know that when a small community like my neighborhood comes together we can help those in need. I plan to run another clothing drive with my sister next summer.
