SUMMARY
Reflection
Throughout the process of planning and accomplishing my service project, I was able to persevere through the stressful moments, allowing me to become an effective leader in unfamiliar circumstances. Learning how to organize and execute the project benefited my patience and showed me how to be prompt and prepared for future endeavors. I was inspired by integrating the elementary and middle school kids with the high schoolers to create a game night with a fun and positive environment, so all could feel comfortable and included. It harbored a sense of community among all and gave them a space to be kids and enjoy the moment. The success of the project influenced the principal to ask the Beta Club to carry out a game night once a month in the following school year.
Project Impact
A community game night was created to foster an inclusive and positive environment for everyone to enjoy. It brought unity amongst younger and older generations and inspired future events. It is important to provide a safe and uplifting atmosphere for the younger community members to prosper in social situations.

Project Planning
4.00 hours leading a club | Connectedness
For my service project, I decided to plan a game night for the local K-12 school and the community. This event will help promote unity within our community and help the betterment of social and communication skills in the younger generations to come.

Publicity

For my project, I collaborated with our local beta club to help promote the event. We promoted this event by making flyers and putting them up around the school and popular spots in the community. With help from the principial we were able to send out a connect ed text and a Facebook post to all of the parents, to better get the word out there.
