    SUMMARY
    Reflection
This experience has allowed me to reflect on what I learned throughout the Governor's page program. With the knowledge I gained during the program, I was able to share this information with others so that people without all of the oppurtunities and experiences as me could still learn from my own experiences. I hope to have inspired people to learn about their state government and the role they can play. This also just taught me general time management and project management skills as I had to practice creating schedules, outlining a goal, and meeting deadlines.
    Project Impact
Through this project I was able to pass out over 25 flyers to students throughout my school. I had two students come talk to me about the content on the fylers and I explained what they were for and my personal governors page experience. I also talked to another student that is now interested int he Governor's Page program and I gave him some information about the program and advice about applying. It is great to see the work I put in have an actual impact and be able to speak to other students about this experience. I told that student to let me know if he does end up applying and if he gets in. Overall, this was a great experience and I think I was able to inform students about state government and programs they can get involved in.
    PROJECTS TASKS
    Page Week
24.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Curiosity
As a Governers Page, I got to go tour multiple sites in Raleigh like the General Assembly, the governers mansion, the archives, etc. I met some very important people such as the governor, Representative Jordan Lopez, and Mr.Evin Grant. I learned about state history and how the government functions along with my role as a citizen in the government.
    Project Planning
    4.00 hours volunteering | Connectedness
Created a Flyer that teaches students and individuals about state government, how it functions, how they are impacted, and how they can get involved. The next steps involve printing 100-200 copies, distributing around my school, church, business and government clubs and groups, and then photographing, interviewing, and collecting evidence about my projects success
    Do the Project
1.00 hour doing outreach | Curiosity
Today I was finally able to print a ton of copies of my Capitol Connections outreach information flyer. This will teach students about our local government, how they are affected and how they can get involved. With the state of the world right now, everyone needs to know their rights and how to advocate for themselves. I have put these flyers in my school, hallways, counselor's office, and class rooms. This should inspire students to take action or at least contact members of the NC government.
    Project Outcomes & Reflection
1.00 hour doing outreach | Connectedness
I have completed my project, I printed the flyers and put them around school and other environments. The flyers I put in a stack in my school have been taken so I know it worked, I have had two people ask me questions about the flyer and I was able to talk to them and get their feedback. They said the flyers were good but they were a little wordy. The photo i included with this is just a pic of the flyer because U did not get a chance to take a picture of anyone reading the flyers.
