Reflection
Menoring these youth has been an unforgettable experience. It has provided me with the experience and knowledge of education and the students within it. From teaching them life skills to being a big brother figure to them, I have enjoyed each day spent with them as they have taught me just as much as I have taught them
Project Impact
The mentorship program provided a safe and supportive environment for three young students to explore their interests, develop important life skills, and build confidence. By fostering positive relationships and providing guidance, I was able to make a meaningful impact on the lives of these students, helping them to realize their potential and pursue their goals with greater confidence and determination.

10.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Curiosity
As a Governors page, I developed a policy for the Department of Public Safety. I networked with multiple members of various branches of the North Carolina State Government including the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Administration. I learned about the executive Branch in North Carolina and how policy plays a role within it.

Project Planning
10.00 hours leading an initiative | Curiosity
I created sample documents of what I would be doing with the students on a day to day basis, created a powerpoint reiterating my documents and I met with the principal and assistant principals of Honeycutt Elementary School to get my mentorship community service project approved. I was approved.

Publicity

I met with the Principal, Assistant Principal, and Counselors of Honeycutt Elementary School and got my Mentoring Community Service Project Approved.
