SUMMARY
Reflection
I learned a lot about working on a team to create a product for the community. I felt empowered to work on an all Latinx production team, creating a product in Spanish, for the Latinx community in North Carolina. I was able to use my skills in video production and editing to offer something to the project creators and create long-lasting relationships for the future as we continue to work toward a better North Carolina. A huge thank you to Antonio Alanís and Black Public Media for making this project possible and allowing me to be a part of it.
Project Impact
There were approximately 45 people at the premier of the podcast in Raleigh, North Carolina.The first episode of the podcast has 139 views on YouTube. Hopefully, the podcast will continue to be available online for people to access in the future.

For my project I will be working with a team of Latinx community members to learn about the impact of Covid-19 on the Latinx community in North Carolina. The project also seeks to promote the Covid-19 vaccine in the Latinx community.
Publicity
20.00 hours leading an initiative | Compassion
I worked with a company to record interviews and create an interactive podcast, in Spanish, providing information and address misconceptions for the Latinx community about Covid-19 vaccination. We planned a series of releases for the project and the project has a social media presence as well.

I worked to do all of the video editing, using Adobe Premier Pro, for the interactive podcast. I participated in weekly meetings with the director and producer to be sure we were presenting participants' perspectives accurately.

I had the opportunity to attend a premier of the interactive podcast. It was an incredible opportunity for an all Latinx filming and production crew to meet with the Latinx community in Raleigh for the premiere!
