SUMMARY
Reflection
I’m overjoyed with the outcome of this donation drive as so many members of my community generously supported the cause. So many community members helped to spread the word and supplied me with large quantities of items greatly needed by the Forsyth Humane Society. The volunteers who received the donations I delivered expressed their gratitude for the items as it took multiple loads to get everything in the building. I know all the items will be put to good use and have made a difference for the animals and volunteers of the FHS.
Project Impact
In the 10 days I ran my donation drive, I was able to gather:
422 storage bags
340 Clorox wipes
70 trash bags
90 fl oz Dawn soap
14.9 lbs dog treats
6 lbs dog food
48.44 lbs cat food
18 lbs cat litter
19 toys
I gathered several drop off donations, and picked up many more off front door steps to make the process easier for donors.

Project Planning
4.00 hours leading an initiative | Compassion
I planned out my page project by making bullet points my main goals and the key aspects of the project. I spent time contacting the Forsyth Humane Society to establish my drive and ask what supplies they’d need the most of.

Publicity
1.00 hour leading an initiative | Connectedness
I created a flyer to be used both physically and digitally to spread the word about the drive. The flyer was shared on various popular social pages within my community to draw in support. All details were listed and a contact was provided to help answer any questions (contact and address marked out on attached image).
