SUMMARY
Reflection
Throughout this project, I was able to lead an effort to massively improve the lives of people in different countries and my own. Although I will never meet these people, the impact that the project had will be remembered. The project was an incredible experience that deepened my faith, my connection with others in my community, and the connection with those in my church family. Overall, I would say that the project was a massive success, and I am proud of its outcome.
Project Impact
Throughout the entire project, the church managed to raise around $11,000. The money will directly contribute to missions to build churches in San Isidro, Costa Rica, houses in Reynosa, Mexico, and other service projects in the US.
PROJECTS TASKS

Page Week
10.00 hours participating in an awareness event | Curiosity
Met with various government employees, learned about state government processes, and met the governor.

Project Planning
2.50 hours leading an initiative | Spirituality
Worked with representatives from my church in order to plan the annual Christmas Tree lot to benefit missions to Costa Rica, Mexico, and areas in the US. Built the stands used to hold the trees and overall set up for the sale.

Do the Project
15.00 hours leading an initiative | Connectedness
Throughout the sale, which spanned from the 4th to the 8th, I led the sale, helping the church raise money to build churches in the area surrounding San Isidro in Costa Rica, houses in Reynosa, Mexico, and other general service projects in the US. We had stations to house the trees, sell the trees and manage pick up orders, fit trees to Christmas tree stands, and tie trees onto cars. I led the volunteers, comprised of youth from our church, on Thursday and Friday night, then throughout the day on Saturday.

Project Outcomes & Reflection
2.00 hours leading an initiative | Connectedness
After the project was over, I reviewed with church leaders and led an additional effort to dismantle the stands. I wasn't able to get an image of the review with church leaders, so I instead included an image of the drill bit that we used to dismantle the stands.
